Thailand wins ’Favourite Destination 2024’ at Travel News Market, Sweden

Thailand has been named “Favourite Destination 2024” at the prestigious Travel News Market in Sweden – marking yet another milestone in its enduring popularity among Swedish travellers. This award was presented at a ceremony in Stockholm, where the Swedish travel industry gathered to celebrate the top destinations, airlines, and tourism experiences.

The “Favourite Destination 2024” award is based on the results of an extensive survey conducted by Travel News and the research firm Nordic Bench, which gathered insights from over 1,500 Swedish travellers.

This recognition underscores Thailand’s continued appeal for its rich culture, stunning natural landscapes, and warm hospitality, while also highlighting the increasing interest in sustainable travel experiences.

Mrs. Orn Doungchan, the Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand Stockholm Office was present to accept the award.
