Thailand Takes Top Honor as ‘Best Tourist Destination’ at Grand Travel Award 2025

Thailand is celebrating yet another success, having been honored with the esteemed “Best Tourist Destination” award at the Grand Travel Award 2025. This accolade underscores Thailand’s status as one of the most beloved travel destinations in the Nordic region.

Orn Doungchan, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) Stockholm office, attended the event to receive the honor on behalf of Thailand, marking another significant achievement in the country’s tourism efforts across Nordic markets.

The Grand Travel Award is organized by Travel News Norge and is determined through voting by professionals within the Norwegian travel industry, including travel agents, tour operators, and other key stakeholders.
