Thailand warmly welcomes visitors from around the world to celebrate the Loi Krathong Festival, a stunning showcase of its rich culture, traditions, and spiritual beauty, held in various provinces across the country.
This year, the festival will be celebrated on Friday, November 15, aligning with the full moon of the 12th month in the Thai lunar calendar.
Known as the “Festival of Lights,” Loi Krathong brings people together nationwide along lakes, rivers, canals, and beaches to honor the goddess of water. Participants release beautifully decorated krathongs, adorned with candles and flowers, as a symbolic gesture to let go of misfortune and invite good fortune and positivity.
