Satun Geopark – Thailand’s first UNESCO Global Geopark South

WHAT IS IT?

Satun Geopark in southern Thailand has become the country’s first UNESCO Global Geopark. The Geopark is known for its limestone mountain ranges, abundance of fossils, beautiful islands and splendid beaches. Activities ranges from kayaking, diving and caving, visit waterfalls and explore local cultures.

HOW TO GET HERE

Satun UNESCO Global Geopark is located exclusively in the Satun province of southern Thailand. By train or by plane from Bangkok to Hat Yai. Then continue by taxi or bus to Amphoe La-Ngu.
